The Rest of the Butterflies
At least, until next time. I swear I'll eventually get a solid picture of the blue Morpho butterfly (the one in Beneath the Broken Wing).
These are pics from the butterfly garden on Vancouver Island, Canada. The minds that brought you a decent healthcare system have also created a large room teeming with fluttery insects. It's a super humid climate, and before walking in, I had to hold my camera under the hand dryer in the restroom to keep it from fogging up immediately. The hot air warmed the camera enough so the temperature transition didn't fog the lenses.
